Anibal Messa has 14 years of experience in Private Equity/Venture Capital and 8 years as a consultant at McKinsey & co. and Bain & co. Performed one of the biggest “exits” to date in the Brazilian VC community, through the sale of BuscaPe, a Brazilian search company, in a first tranche to Boston-based Fund Great Hill Partners, and later to Naspers from South Africa with proceeds in excess of US$342 million.Anibal was also an Investment Director at Temasek Holdings – an Asian sovereign wealth investment house, having established the Brazilian Office in 2008 and executed the office´s flagship investments, such as: LAN Airlines, Netshoes and Visanet. Anibal also has a diversified executive experience, having worked for Delco Electronics, a GM Hughes company, ABN/AMRO Bank and Royal Dutch/Shell.Anibal received a BA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, studied at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, is a CFA chart-holder and has an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. He has served as a board member director of Netshoes, BuscaPe Inc. and boo-box.
